Driving recovery. An online event.

The EMCON Show (formerly Oktoberfest) has included a conference element with speakers from a range of manufacturing businesses over the past few years.

Last year we heard from Heather Mills of Vbites, alongside a panel of North East entrepreneurs, on their plans for the North East and the incredible confidence they have in the manufacturing sector.

It is undeniable that 2020 has been a most extraordinary year and the planned EMCON Show has been moved from October to 4 March 2021 to allow business confidence to return.

However, it was always the intention to hold the date of 8 October for something special! This year will see the very first EMCON event, to be held entirely online.

They have spent several months deliberating over the content of this two-hour conference and what the sector needs by way of support and really do believe that this is a morning not to be missed.

The subject is very simple, DRIVING RECOVERY, and the team is bringing together some of the region’s most influential people to discuss the future of our industry and what is being done right here in the North East to stimulate this.
