Durham Hockey Club scoops three-year sponsorship boost from ONE Sports Warehouse

The family-run sports retailer, located on the Drum Industrial Estate in Chester-le-Street, has invested in premier league club new shirts, which were unveiled to all team player in the England Hockey and BUCS leagues, to kick off the exciting sponsorship arrangements.

ONE Sports Warehouse Managing Director, Simon Lee said: “It’s great to be able to support Durham University Hockey Club as their title sponsor for the next three years.

“With Durham being Britain’s Number one team sport, and University and DUHC now having eleven teams in the BUCS and England Hockey leagues, it was an easy decision for us from a sponsorship point of view. It is obvious they are going from strength to strength, and we are excited to play our part in that journey.”

ONE Sports Warehouse specialises in hockey and sports equipment and clothing, stocking a range of brands including Adidas, Grays, Y1 and more. In addition to its retail store on the Drum Industrial Estate, it also runs a online shop to provide an accessible and superior customer experience.

Durham University Hockey Club is one of the highest achieving hockey programmes in the UK, boasting five men’s and six women’s teams. It also supports the development of international athletes including Olympians Jack Waller, Ollie Payne, and current student and Tokyo 2020 bronze medallist Fiona Crackles.
