Recruitment drive for machinery and machine tooling firm Rondean

The firm, which is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of high-quality used machinery for sheet metal fabrication, engineering, and woodworking, is looking for an engineer shop labourer and a machine tool engineer to join its team based on the Drum Industrial Estate.

The engineer shop labourer is a full-time position and involves cleaning machines, tooling, and general factory work. Any engineering and mechanical based practical experience or knowledge is an advantage.

The Machine Tool Service Engineer comes with a possibility of moving into a management position and will be suitable for someone experienced in mechanical and electrically operated three phase machinery, with the following machine types: engineering: lathes, milling, surface-grinding, sawing, radial arm and pillar drills, metal fabrication: hydraulic press-brakes, guillotines and bending rolls and a range of woodworking machinery.

A full driving licence is essential for both positions.
