David Foster named UK Asset Finance CEO of the Year 2024
Anglo Scottish Asset Finance, based on the Drum Industrial Estate near Chester-le-Street, has announced its Managing Director has scooped a prestigious award.
David Foster, who co-founded Anglo Scottish in 2007, was awarded UK Asset Finance CEO of the Year 2024 by Asset Finance Connect (AFC).
The AFC Awards honour excellence in automotive, equipment leasing, and asset finance, featured 22 categories and over 100 nominations this year.
David was presented with the award at a ceremony in London, where Anglo Scottish was also shortlisted for four awards. The company received high commendation for best automotive or equipment finance organisation to work for based on staff feedback.
David has been a key figure in the asset finance industry for over 30 years and along with Dean Cowley, Paul Sargent, and Murray Wark, founded Anglo Scottish after identifying the need for reliable commercial finance to service small and medium sized businesses.
Under David’s leadership, Anglo Scottish has grown to become one of the largest commercial finance brokers in the UK, culminating in over 12,900 transactions in the financial year 2022 to 2023 and exceeded over £519 million in lending to small companies across the UK.
