Durham machinery firm recruiting for factory-based labourer
Machinery supplier Rondean Ltd has announced it’s seeking a labourer to join its rapidly growing team in its factory unit on Chester-Le-Street’s Drum Industrial Estate.
The full-time position involves cleaning a wide and diverse range of machinery and keeping the premises clean, tidy, and well-organised.
Established in 1984 by Ron Lewis, Rondean Ltd sells refurbished machine tools to engineering, sheet metal, and woodworking companies with a specific focus on machinery designed and built in the UK.
Ron Lewis, managing director at Rondean Ltd, said: “The right person will be supporting our fitters as well as doing some dismantling and assembly work, so the role will suit someone with engineering and mechanical-based practical experience although this isn’t essential as full training will be given.
“At Rondean Ltd we have a policy of only providing customers with truly exceptional products; this keeps us ahead of the game and ensures the North East has the best machinery available. We’re very proud of the fact that during our 32-year history we have never had to take one machine back.”
Some driving may be required so a full driving licence is essential. Current references and DBS checks will also be required.
Interested candidates can apply by emailing their CV and covering letter outlining key skills to info@rondean.co.uk. To get more information call Allison on 0191 410 5886.
