EV infrastructure grant
Small-to-medium-sized businesses can get grants of up to £15,000 to install electric vehicle charging infrastructure in their commercial car parks.
The EV infrastructure grant covers up to 75 percent of installation costs needed for charge points to operate and for future charge points to be installed, as well as the cost of any charge points installed.
You can get up to £350 per charge point socket installed and £500 per parking space enabled with supporting infrastructure.
Each parking space claimed must be associated with a unique charge point socket. The socket must be associated with an installed charge point or one that will be installed at a future connection location.
The installed infrastructure must support a minimum of five parking spaces with at least one working charge point.
The installer will claim the grant on your behalf.
You can apply for this grant if you are a small-to-medium-sized business with no more than 249 employees. Your business must be a UK-registered company, charity, or public sector organisation to apply.
