Family business welcomes new addition to drive growth

Matt joined the specialist sports goods retailer, located on the Drum Industrial Estate in Chester-le-Street, in June 2023.

One Sports Warehouse, which has traded on the Industrial Estate since 2017, recently relocated to a unit that is three and a half times bigger.

The unit, spanning 5,018 square feet, features a state-of-the-art indoor hockey and netball training area with enclosed goalkeeping netting, alongside an expanded inventory of sporting products.

The company has doubled its stock over the past 24 months to meet rising customer demand. This strategic expansion positions One Sports Warehouse for sustained success and enhanced service delivery.

Simon said: “Looking ahead, we anticipate further growth, particularly in our business-to-business sales over the next year.
