Heel & Toe charity to benefit from Oyster Festival fundraiser

Children’s charity Heel & Toe, which provides therapy to children and young people with profound physical and neurological disabilities, is the chosen beneficiary of this year’s Oyster Festival fundraiser.

Based in Pelton near the Drum Industrial Estate, Heel & Toe offers vital support to families across the North East including hippotherapy, hydrotherapy, and rebound therapy. All services are provided free and subsidised.

Supporters are invited to join the charity for an unforgettable event at the Oyster Festival, taking place on Friday, 26 September at Hardwick Hall Hotel. It will hosted by Heel & Toe Charity Patron, Steve Walls.

The day will be headlined by Tony Hadley, former frontman of Spandau Ballet. Comedian Joe Pasquale, tribute act The Dolly Show, and Irish music favourites Emerald Thieves, JJ Galway Band, and DJ Brandon Block will also take to the stage.

It promises a day of glamour, beginning with a champagne reception followed by a three-course Fruit de Mer menu. Guests will enjoy access to oyster stalls, complimentary lager, beer and wine, as well as the incredible line-up of live entertainment.

Mandy Hammond, Community Fundraiser at Heel and Toe, said: “This is more than just great food and entertainment, the Oyster Festival is a chance to support a truly meaningful cause. Heel & Toe’s services make a life-changing difference for children with complex needs, and this event will help ensure that support continues.”

A limited number of exclusive discounted tables for 10 guests are still available. To reserve your place at this sought-after event, visit the Heel & Toe website.
