Heel & Toe Children’s Charity calls for raffle prize donations ahead of Mistletoe Ball

The Mistletoe Ball will include entertainment, a drinks reception, and a three-course meal.

Based near the Drum Industrial Estate in Pelton, Heel & Toe provides free and subsidised therapy for children with physical disabilities and complex needs across the region. Every penny raised from this event will go directly to funding the therapy.

Services include physiotherapy, massage therapy, hippotherapy, hydrotherapy, and rebound therapy, all delivered by highly qualified paediatric therapists in specially adapted facilities.

Community Fundraiser Mandy Hammond, who is also a parent of one of the charity’s first therapy recipients, is leading the call for raffle prize donations.

She said: “Heel and Toe is incredibly close to my heart. My daughter has benefited massively from therapy sessions at the charity. We don’t receive any government funding, so events like these, and generous raffle prize donations, make a real difference to the lives of the children and families we support. Whether big or small, every prize helps, and we’re truly grateful.

“With the countdown on, there’s still time to get involved!”

Funds raised from the Mistletoe Ball will go directly towards supporting local children with disabilities and complex needs.
