Plans submitted for car park upgrades on Drum Industrial Estate
Plans for changes to a car park on the Drum Industrial Estate have been submitted to Durham County Council.
The Trustees of the Paloma I (Industrial III) Unit Trust are seeking a Lawful Development Certificate (LDC) for several upgrades.
These include installing cladding, making structural changes, adding access gates, reconfiguring roads, and improving parking areas.
Other proposed changes include creating electric vehicle charging bays, adding new fencing, and improving access.
The application follows rules in the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015, which allows certain changes without needing express planning permission.
The proposed work is expected to meet these guidelines.
