Search starts for North East’s most inspirational women
North East England Chamber of Commerce launches its Inspiring Females awards to find the most inspirational female apprentices, employees, and business leaders.
The awards recognise and celebrate the region’s businesswomen’s successes and spread the word on how they’ve overcome any challenges.
Ashley Carney, Chamber events manager said: “We have some fantastic female role models in our region who are excelling as managing directors, entrepreneurs, engineers, exporters, apprentices and innovators. But we don’t hear enough about them, what drove them to achieve their ambitions or how they did it. We believe it’s important to give these women a platform to share their stories, inspiring others to learn from them.”
