Chester-le-Street supercar and performance vehicle specialists Performance 28 are on the hunt for a highly skilled Master Technician to join their team.
Renowned for high-end servicing, advanced repairs, diagnostics, and performance upgrades, Performance 28 is recruiting a hands-on technician with at least 10 years’ experience in the motor trade.
Based at The Drum Industrial Estate, the company operates a state-of-the-art workshop and has become one of the North East’s go-to destinations for prestige, performance, and luxury vehicles.
The successful candidate will be responsible for complex fault-finding, mechanical and electronic repairs, performance modifications, and mentoring junior technicians and apprentices.
Owner Tony Thomson said: “Finding top-tier technicians is crucial for what we do. We need someone who can tackle challenging projects across a wide range of vehicles, lead by example, and uphold the exceptional standards our customers expect from a supercar specialist.”
The position offers a competitive salary of around £45,000, depending on experience. While Master Technician accreditation, MOT Tester status, and experience with performance or specialist vehicles are desirable, the company is primarily seeking proven expertise and a passion for precision automotive work. A full UK driving licence is essential.
