Thorne & Derrick International celebrates 40 years of excellence with Anniversary Gala
Thorne & Derrick International, a global supplier of specialist electrical, mechanical, and safety products for the energy, utilities, and industrial sectors, celebrated its 40th anniversary with a gala at Beamish Hall in County Durham.
Founded in 1985 by Brian Derrick and Victor Thorne, the company started as a small regional business and has grown into a trusted international brand. Today, it serves clients in over 50 countries, supplying LV and HV cable accessories, tooling, and hazardous area electrical equipment for onshore and offshore wind, solar, battery storage, and process industry projects. Its headquarters are based on the Drum Estate near Chester-le-Street.
The gala included a champagne reception, fine dining, and tributes to the company’s journey.
