Woodland grants for Durham land managers
Land managers within a ten-mile radius of Durham city are being offered practical support and finance through a scheme to create 200 acres of woodland in the next two years.
The free training and funding are available to plant new woodlands and manage existing ones, through the Durham Woodland Revival programme, which is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Woodland Trust and Durham County Council.
It is aiming to create woodland the size of Durham city centre by 2023 and grants are available for planting of areas over 0.2 acres but smaller than 7.4 acres, including for hedgerow and parkland trees, and the team can assist with applications for funding to create larger areas of woodland.
Whether you are a small business or a multi-national market leader, Drum Business Park is the perfect place to locate and run your business.
